7/19/2012: After 4 days, so far so good.
Everything my previous boss told me, I’ve carried over and have seen the predicted results. The same high-energy/positive attitude that got me brought up so fast has given me a start here that I have received nothing but good feedback for. This good start, combined with JD’s emphasis on shift execution has me comfortable and focused on the basics of each day (doing them the right way).
? for next week: Are they telling me about things that need to be fixed because I’m new, or because they see I’m proactive? The latter!
11/29/2017 review–Funny I should title this entry in this way, considering I’d shortly read the book What Got You Here Won’t Get You There. Still, it’s a nice short reminder of the value of mentors, in this case my former boss.
